I am an all around Geek. Starting with the Commodore 64 and now Linux, Windows and OS X machines. In the past I have held positions that involved electro-mechanical repair, automotive parts and repair, held Automotive Standards of Excellence in Automobile Mechanics and Parts Professional certifications. I have also been involved as a Government liaison with the US Army and Civil Affairs units and Assist Director of Knox County Emergency Management Agency. Lately I have been assisting San Pedro Belize as the communications officer for the National Emergency Management Agency.
Some of the projects I have launched or involved in are: Network, Applications, Database and Operational support in a Tier 1 / Tier 2 Network Operations Center environment - for Internet / Web content including high-profile consumer facing web properties such as: AOL.com, AOL Search, Video Search, AOL International, AIM.com, AOL Channels, AOL Video, Mapquest, Netscape.com, TMZ.com, Weblogs, X-Drive, Time.com, CNN.com, Warner Brothers Online, and enterprise content publishing and global distribution infrastructure. Internet Administration -Web Server Technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, IIS, AOL Server, Web Sphere and Vignette. Cable Television- IPTV, Channel launches, Video On Demand, Switched Digital Video and StartOver.
